Detroit Public School Community District says parents have returned to their schools. The plan to increase numbers is far from over but the most important count is October 4th says Superintendent Vitti,
“This all matters,” Vitti said of the enrollment numbers. “But what really matters is count day and count week.”
Count day – which is Oct. 4 – is one of two days during the school year in which attendance helps determine how much state aid a school district will receive.
